Firewood is the name of the game this week. With the snow, the demand is high. Bundled firewood sold through the Oregon Woodland Cooperative (OWC) provides us with a small income to help cover annual costs.

Eve and Bernie with a truckload for delivery in Portland.

Very cold and snowy this week. 26 degrees yesterday with a light dusting of snow. Brrr! In town Monday the 12th for the Freedom to Marry documentary featuring Thalia. Tuesday at the Pinchot Institute with Scott and Luke for our Carbon data meeting. We will decide in the next month whether it's a go. Here is a link to the NYTimes story on the carbon project.

Then back to the farm on Wednesday. Schools closed early Wednesday due to snow and closed all day Thursday and Friday. We went back to town on Friday to make two more deliveries of firewood. Then back to the farm to bundle on Saturday.

Eve is ready for a delivery on Friday
